A beautiful summers day spent at South Farm.
Boho Luxe Collection with a Sustainable Twist, written and edited by Janine of Waterfall Wedding Decor.
Not so long ago, a group of magnificent wedding suppliers met up at the charming venue of South Farm in Cambridgeshire and created a summer wedding with a boho-luxe and sustainable theme. Our focus was on designing a beautifully bright wedding with pastel themes along with ethically sourcing aspects including organic fabrics, sustainable wood, vegan grazing and more.
We also had the pleasure of Andrew Collin filming and getting those ‘behind-the-scenes’ shots. Enjoy!
Sustainable weddings often bring to mind palettes of greens and neutrals. However this wedding showcases throughout bright colours including pastels. This summer extravaganza is bursting with vibrancy throughout and portrays a sustainable wedding with a boho and luxury feel. This is becoming more and more popular today and the access to sustainable products is far better and much more affordable than it has ever been. If you take the time to put in that research then you will find suppliers with a similar ethos to you. I hope you enjoy and find much inspiration from gazing through what we accomplished on that beautiful summers day at South Farm.
The gown worn by our model Tara is a showstopper from Halo & Wren, it is the Juliet piece from Riki Dalal Nova’s, Shakespeare Collection. Pairing this with bespoke hair accessories, jewellery and shoes designed by Rachel Sokhal made this overall look as dreamy as it is. The peach themes running throughout the table setting laid with organically dyed fabrics and vases full of vibrant florals continue the boho and luxury theme, and the cherry on top is this beautifully designed three-tiered cake by One Part Love with a hand-painted personalised design.
Grazing stations always go down a storm at weddings and are the new fashionable way to feed your guests. This vegan grazing station captured was produced by B and R Dining, resting upon on luxury lime wash tables hand made by Waterfall Wedding Decor and wood sourced from UK-based sustainable forests.
Huge thanks to all that took part in this gorgeous shoot, and especially to the lovely Bedfordshire wedding photographer Em-j Photography, who captured these beautiful moments on a beautiful summers day at South Farm.
